A symbol of luck or the fighting Irish the leprechaun makes a marvelous design for a tattoo. What once started as a myth in Ireland the Irish Leprechaun has grown to be one of the worlds most known cultural symbols. The Leprechaun still remains an important part of the traditions in Ireland as we still share stories of the little people and all their gold.

These pictures of leprechauns tattoos, below, are great examples of the different brilliant Leprechaun characters that make great tattoos. Don't forgot, we would love to show off your tattoos on our site.

Drinking Leprechauns Tattoo

Drinking Leprechaun TattoosUploaded by Flickr user kiwi1824 this tattoo shows two Leprechauns drinking but of you look more closely you’ll notice a pot of gold behind them. We love how this little characters look with their wee pot belly, the belt buckle and their pointed ears.
This Leprechaun tattoo is very well drawn showing the strong character of the little people.

Drunken Leprechaun Tattoo

Drunken Leprechaun TattooWe love this tattoo of a little drunken Leprechaun, swinging his bottle and with his hat over his eyes. The detail of this tattoo is brilliant with the Shamrock added to the Leprechauns hat, as an added touch.

We’ll assume the drunken Leprechaun is doing a dance, something that they are well known for doing after having a drink.

A Greedy Evil Leprechaun Tattoo

A Greedy Evil Leprechaun Tattoo

The great thing about Leprechauns is that you can make up any type of character you like, as shown in this tattoo.

Leprechauns are not usually greedy or evil but when they are they certainly look freaky. We love this tattoo of what we will assume is greedy, his pot of gold is a tell tale sign.

Fighting Irish Leprechaun Tattoo

A Greedy Evil Leprechaun Tattoo

We all know about the fighting Irish and the fighting Leprechaun. The character has become so well known that it has now become a popular tattoo for many.

We are not sure how big this tattoo actually is, some prefer them to be small when others mat go for the larger sized tattoos. There are many different variations of the fighting Irish Leprechaun but we really like this one.

This picture was uploaded by Flickr Jonny the large.
