Walking to work this morning, I managed to catch the Dublin Clampers in the act of clamping four vehicles in a row. This photo is one of the vehicles and looks like an Irish Army mini-bus.

Browsing through flickr I found this amazing photo of an Irish wolfhound in a pub, notice how the pub is empty? It is not a surprise with such a big dog running around the premises.

One thing that I found strange when working in the United States was the American Fighter Jets that would fly overhead on a daily basis. The company I worked for in Central New York was located beside the local airport so I would get to see the jets flying very low down and the noise from them was deafening.

This photo is an amazing shot of the Giants Causeway, which is located on the County Antrim coast. It is a place of shear beauty that had been created from volcanic eruptions and the cooling of the lava.

Glendalough in County Wicklow is also known as the “Glen of two lakes” that was formed thousands of years ago after the ice age, creating a large valley. The two lakes had been formed from Mountain Rivers and streams running into the valley and have the Gledealo river flowing in from the west to the upper lake, the deepest of the two.

Here is a nice photo that I have stumbled across of Clonmacnoise Monastery. As you can see the round tower was added to the Monastery most possible to protect the monks who once lived here. The round towers are common in Ireland and can be found dotted across the landscape.

A good friend emailed this photo of a cottage in County Donegal that I thought I would share.
Cottages are amazing wee homes and also make a great holiday home, prices can vary for different locations around Ireland
Although people have converted their cottage or upgrade the furnishings many still remain to it original design with the open fire hearth and outside toilet.
