Road deaths in Ireland have been a terrible problem for so many years but fatalities seem to keep climbing no matter how aware Irish drivers are on the dangers of our roads.
Damian Blake, a Councillor for Letterkenny in County Donegal and ex-mayor of the town, has taken to his blog to rally up support in doing something about this major problem we have and for us to label this “Stop The Carnage Week”.
Irish law is a complete joke when it comes to sentencing driving offenders and its about high time people rallied together to voice their opinion, before anymore people are killed on Irish roads.

Congratulation is in order for Kerry wining the All-Ireland senior GAA football at Croke Park today.
The results: Kerry 4-15 Mayo 3-05
I am not a Kerry supporter but it was a good game and deserved for Kerry and as the RTE presenter said, they destroyed Mayo.
I am sure there is going to big celebrations for the Kerry people.
Congratulations!

Great to hear the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile confirmed that Ireland is capable of hosting a round of the World Rally Championship after a pilot event in March. It’s a wonder what took them so long in making the decision as most Irish rally fans know the roads in Ireland are perfect for the sport, better late than never I say.
Rallying in Ireland has always had a great fan base North and South of the border and with many fans following the World Rally Championship events each year this will bring great contribution to the sport.

Isn’t it great to see the children in the North of Ireland get more involved with their art studies and degrade the British Union Flag by painting its colours on paving kerbs.
Why would one paint their kerbs red, white and blue in the North? Well that is the preparation for the Orange Order parades that take place there every year.
Aye before anyone asks, it’s the UK tax payer that covers the cost to clean up this mess.
*sigh*

Today I took a few hours out of my daily routine to watch coverage of The Great May 1st Boycott, also known as “A Day Without An Immigrant”.

This Monday is to be marked as ‘The Great May 1st Boycott’ or better yet ‘A Day Without an Immigrant’ in America which will have millions of immigrants take to the streets. Students will not be at school, factories will be shut down, trucks will be stopped and of course my local corner shop Indian friend will refuse to open.
