Ulster Banking Robbery
Are you in Northern Ireland and bank with Ulster Bank, Northern Bank, First Trust or the Bank of Ireland? Would you call yourself a loyal customer to one of these banks?
It seems these four banks that have dominance in Northern Ireland are not loyal to their customers as they each charge higher fees on their current bank accounts. Why? The lack of competition.
Yes that’s right, Ulster Bank, Northern Bank, First Trust and the Bank of Ireland don’t feel a need to lower their fees and look after their customers but instead feel a need to squeeze every hard earned penny from your wallet.
So why don’t people switch their accounts? Most people believe that switching banks accounts is difficult, time consuming and starting a fresh relationship with another bank may be difficult.
Complaints have been issued regarding the high fees of each bank and an investigation is underway. So maybe its time to rethink if you should be a customer of Ulster Bank, Northern Bank, First Trust or the Bank of Ireland - I know I already have.
