The Undertones was something positive that came from the North of Ireland during the troubles in the 70’s and 80’s. A group of young lads from Derry city decided to focus their interests away from politics and inputted all their efforts into music; this was the basic making of The Undertones.

The below video of My Perfect Cousin is a perfect example of the sound they produced which was described as ‘post pop punk’ and with low video budgets they laid out a unique style loved by thousands.
