The world cup in 1990 was a great time to be Irish and even better being in Ireland to watch the Republic of Ireland matches being played.
The whole of the country was ecstatic and celebrated with each win. When the Republic of Ireland went all the way to the Semi-Finals against Italy it was to safe to say that 90% of the country was on the verge of having heart attacks.
