How to speak with an Irish Accent

The Irish accent is one in a million and for many people outside of Ireland it is an accent they love hearing, even if they have problem understanding what was just being said.

Irish Language Lab with Michael Nesmith as brought us this wonderful yet so funny 2 minute video on learn how to speak like the Irish do!

I have always loved listening to the accents of people from different parts of Ireland and listening to the phrases that is common for each area such as the difference between people in Dublin to the people in County Donegal.

Some phrases are commonly used by everyone around Ireland but others are more unique to each geographic area within Ireland.

  1. That was awesome. I’m half Geordie but there is nothing in the world like the Irish accent. I would be really nice if someone of you wrote a transcript of this video.
