Goodbye US Hello Ireland
The last few days have been totally hectic around here as we prepare for our flight back to Ireland tomorrow.
It has been three years since leaving Ireland so its going to be strange to settle back into the Irish way of life, to say the least.
So far no major decisions have been made on where to settle or what to do when we do get back to Ireland but I will be relieved to get some time off from working and hopefully get plenty of opportunity to travel around some sites in Ireland, especially in Donegal.
For now I have personally held off on the job hunting until I decide exactly what I want to do with my future but some options I have is to travel Europe, work in Ireland or create a startup business.
Although I am looking forward to getting back to Irish life I will miss my temporary home in the United States as I have made many friends, built a great home base and learned many skills for the company I worked with.
So until I hit Ireland these posts will be put on temporary hold.
Let us know if you have ever experienced the reverse culture shock of going back to Ireland and what best methods you used to overcome the shock.
