News of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream called Black & Tan has now reached the Irish shores and is causing somewhat of political whirl pool, just as I posted 2 weeks ago withthe video to make Irish Black & Tan.

The Ben & Jerry news is also being discussed in Slugger O’ Toole, the award wining Blog on Northern Ireland Culture and Politics. ElBlogador seems to have started a heated debated on the news of Ben & Jerry’s Black & Tan ice cream when The Dossing Times thinks its quite funny, well the fact its hit mainstream news in America.

Ben & Jerry’s decision on creating Black & Tan flavored ice cream was from the Black & Tan cocktail which is extremely popular in America. The Irish Car Bomb is another popular cocktail in America that I was introduced to when arriving in the United States.

It felt strange asking the bar man for an Irish car bomb but even felt more strange seeing how people got excited over these drinks which I honestly found quite crap, give me a stout any day.

The company Ben & Jerry have apologized to the Irish but lets how far the company willing to go? Will the remove it from market?
